The town of Lubimec (population of 8 000 people) is located 12km. away from the Greek border check – point Ormenion and 25 km. away from the border pass Kapitan Andreevo – Kapa-Kule. Situated on the right bank of the river Maritsa and the International motor E 80, the town is famous for its well-developed agriculture, animal-breeding and light industry.
