Durrës District

The District of Durrës (Albanian: Rrethi i Durrësit) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania. It has a population of 182,000 (2004 estimate), and an area of 455 km². It is in the west of the country, and its capital is Durrës. Other towns in this district include Shijak and Sukth.
