ProstějovProstějov (in German: Prossnitz) is a city in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic. The German population was violently expelled from this city, and the entire Sudentenland under the Benes Decrees of 1945. These expulsions of more than 3 million German civilians involved the mass murder of approximately 200,000 people. Today city is known for its fashion industry and special military forces based here.
