Breclav

Břeclav (German Lundenburg) is a town in the Czech Republic, southeast of Brno. It is located at the border to Lower Austria on the Dyje River. The next larger town on Austrian territory is Hohenau an der March. Up to World War II Břeclav had a substantial German-speaking population. In 1880, it had 5681 inhabitants.
