Fall RiverFall River is a community of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia (Canada), to the north of Bedford and east of Lower Sackville. As of 2001, the population was 4,393. Fall River is named from a river running between Miller Lake and Lake Thomas. The Falls of Fall River were demolished in the 1960s during the construction of the Bicentennial Highway leading to Halifax.
