ParaPará (pron. IPA: [pa.'ɾa]) is one of the states of Brazil, located in the northern part of the country. Neighboring states are (from north clockwise) Amapá, Maranhão, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, Amazonas and Roraima. To the north it also borders Guyana and Suriname (which has a district named Para).
The capital city of the state is Belém. Other cities include:
