Kakinada

Kakinada is a town and a municipal corporation in East Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also the headquarters of East Godavari district. This coastal town is witnessing rapid growth thanks to the recently granted Special Economic Zone status. It was recently elevated to a municipal corporation.
