Tezu

Tezu is a census town and the headquarters of Lohit district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. The ancient inhabitant of this beautiful land of valley and rivers are the Mishmi tribes. This tribe still has a King and Queens residing in the district headquarters of Tezu. The Mishmi tribes have a rich tradition and customs dating back to the times of Mahabharata.
